This program is for ages 8 - 12 Years
Facilitated by Lucy Barbera, Ph.D., Director of The Creative Art Therapy Studio

Participants will explore thoughts and feelings about the future and create a piece of original art. Participants can choose to submit their work to the Community Star Art Project* for a group art show & art contest.
Art supplies will be provided for participants.

*The Community Star Art Project is a call for youth and adults to submit artwork that reflects a message of hope, interdependence, and community engagement. It is an opportunity to think critically about collective experiences with the pandemic, and how we might spark joy and motivation to care for our neighbors. Through art exhibits artists’ creative expression will light up the lives of local nursing home residents through the long winter months.
