Great Give Back 2021- Planting a Pollinator Pathway & Milkweed Waystation

A Great Give Back 2021 Program
Planting a Pollinator Pathway & Milkweed Waystation

The mission of The Great Give Back is to provide a day of opportunities for the patrons of the Public Libraries of New York State to participate in meaningful, service-oriented experiences.

This year the Staatsburg Library is helping to save Monarch butterflies and pollinators by expanding our garden to provide a pollinator pathway and milkweed waystation.
We need your help to prepare the garden and plant milkweed seeds.

Working in collaboration with Candace Gallagher of the Pollinator Patrol Club and our neighbors at the Morton Memorial Library in Rhinecliff, we will be planting a pollinator pathway from library to library along the route 9/9G corridor.

Planting on October 16 will take place throughout the day at 4 locations (The Staatsburg Library, The Morton Memorial Library, The Rhinecliff Waterfront Park, Burger Hill) Join us for planting at any or all of the locations.
All ages welcome!
