Write it Out - Writing GroupWrite it Out - Writing Group – A writing group for parents, caregivers, family members and educators of children with special needs. This is a safe space to share and explore thoughts and feelings! This group meets regularly at the library throughout the year and is facilitated by Diana Rush, a writer and parent. Diana will help participants use writing as a means to sort through some of the unique challenges and victories of parenting and working with these special kids. Everyone is welcome and no writing experience is necessary |

The Randolph Caldecott Medal is awarded annually to the artist of the most distinguished American picture book published in the United States the previous year. Join us and the Hyde Park Library in reading, discussing and evaluating this year’s crop of fantastic and beautiful books. Mobile Office Hours - Representative Antonio Delgado StaffMobile Office Hours - Representative Antonio Delgado Staff – Each month, the office of U.S. Representative Antonio Delgado (NY-19) hosts mobile office hours where constituents can meet with the Congressman’s staff and receive assistance with constituent services. This includes any type of support with federal services, from seniors having issues with their Social Security benefits, to veterans needing more information on VA benefits and services, to organizations applying for grants. Constituents can meet with Delgado staff members from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Dec. 16 at the Staatsburg Library, 70 Old Post Road, Staatsburg.
