A writing group for parents, caregivers, family members and educators of children with special needs. This is a safe space to share and explore thoughts and feelings! This group meets regularly at the library throughout the year and is facilitated by Diana Rush, a writer and parent. Diana will help participants use writing as a means to sort through some of the unique challenges and victories of parenting and working with these special kids. Everyone is welcome and no writing experience is necessary

The Pollinator Patrol Club will be planting milkweed seeds which are vital to Monarch butterfly and bee survival. This workshop will be a dual workshop for children and adults. Art club is a chance to learn art techniques and us a variety of materials to create. Program is led by local teens and college students studying art. Some supplies will be provided.
This program is for Upper Elementary and Middle School students to explore their creativity through projects in science, art, math and technology.

This four-hour class is a great introduction to the basics of babysitting for kids 10 years old and up.
Topics include: interviewing tips, communication skills, ages and stages of young babies and toddlers, safety and first aid tips, and feeding and caring for children, including diaper changing.
