Join our group of “Mah Jonggers” for a fun and friendly game of Mah Jongg. If you want to learn how to play, watch and ask questions between hands.

Write it Out - Writing Group

A writing group for parents, caregivers, family members and educators of children with special needs. This is a safe space to share and explore thoughts and feelings! This group meets regularly at the library throughout the year and is facilitated by Diana Rush, a writer and parent. Diana will help participants use writing as a means to sort through some of the unique challenges and victories of parenting and working with these special kids. Everyone is welcome and no writing experience is necessary

Food Lit & Cookbook Bookclub

Join other book and art enthusiasts in reading, discussing and evaluating this year’s crop of beautiful books. The Randolph Caldecott Medal is awarded annually to the artist of the most distinguished American picture book published in the United States the previous year.

Join us and the Hyde Park Library in reading, discussing and evaluating this year’s crop of fantastic and beautiful books. Nominated Books are available for review at your convenience in the Staatsburg Library Program Room or order your copies from the library catalog. THIS MEETING IS AT THE STAATSBURG LIBRARY

Bee Calm Yoga – Children 4-10 Yrs (Registration Required)

Learn about bees and the calming techniques of yoga in a class led by Beth Cooper with Yoga Motion Kids, an experienced early childhood educator and certified children's yoga instructor. Junior pollinators will learn yoga motions accompanied by fun music and mindfulness activities influenced by recording artist and Yogi Bari Koral. Please bring a yoga mat.
