November 16, 2021(5 events) 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm Qigong & Tai Chi Tuesdays Join instructor Maryann Russell for Qigong/Tai Chi for all levels of ability on Tuesday afternoons in November. Classes will meet at the Staatsburg Firehouse where we have plenty of room to spread out. With a combination of meditation, controlled breathing, and gentle movement, Qigong & Tai Chi offer the opportunity to be centered and balanced physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Tuesday, November 9, 16, 23 & 30 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm Mandarin & Chinese Culture Club Learn Chinese language and culture in this five week series of classes for 3rd - 5th graders. 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm Guided Nature Hikes on the Hyde Park Trails System The group will be meeting at a different Hyde Park State Park each week. This 12 week series is geared towards families with school age children, using the hike to incorporate as many subjects and learning opportunities as possible. Rain or shine; only required materials would be appropriate hiking gear, a nature journal, and pencil. Tick and bug spray always a good idea!
