A writing group for parents, caregivers, family members and educators of children with disabilities. This is a safe space to share and explore thoughts and feelings! This group meets throughout the year and is facilitated by Diana Rush, a writer, educator and parent.
Diana will help participants use writing as a means to sort through some of the unique challenges and victories of parenting and working with these special kids.
Everyone is welcome and no writing experience is necessary.

Get an overview of car maintenance from Chaya Milchtein of Mechanic Shop Femme. Learn when to perform specific maintenance tasks, and of course, why, including changing oil and filters, tire pressure, coolant, and much more.

Great information for new drivers or refresher for those who have been around the block!
Questions are encouraged, so come prepared to learn maintenance in a way you never have before.

Chaya Milchtein is an automotive educator, journalist, speaker, and founder of Mechanic Shop Femme. Her work has appeared or been featured in publications ranging from the Chicago Tribune and AARP to Shondaland and Parents Magazine. Join Holly Shelowitz, Culinary Nutrition Educator for a hands-on cooking class from the comfort of your own kitchen! Join us as we prepare nourishing and delicious soups perfect for the winter months.

Once you register, you will receive the Zoom link, shopping list, and recipes. Print them out so you have them handy. Prepare all of your ingredients by washing the veggies and having whatever cookware you need. Then set up your phone / laptop / iPad in the kitchen so you can see Holly as she cooks. She will walk you through step by step and you will have a delicious soups to keep you warm.
