At Burger HillJoin us to celebrate World Bee Day and help Winnakee and the Pollinator Patrol Club, raise awareness of the essential role bees and other pollinators play in keeping people and the planet healthy, and the many challenges they face today.
We will build native bee houses while learning about Burger Hill’s pollinator habitat and how to create an inviting space for these important species. Wild pollinators like bees play a major role in maintaining biodiversity, ensuring the survival and reproduction of many plants, supporting forest regeneration, promoting sustainability and adaptation to climate change and improving the quantity and quality of agricultural productions.
