Write it Out - Writing Group

A writing group for parents, caregivers, family members and educators of children with special needs. This is a safe space to share and explore thoughts and feelings! This group meets regularly at the library throughout the year and is facilitated by Diana Rush, a writer and parent. Diana will help participants use writing as a means to sort through some of the unique challenges and victories of parenting and working with these special kids. Everyone is welcome and no writing experience is necessary

Food Lit & Cookbook Bookclub

Bees & Seeds Workshop – Seeing is "Bee-ing" (Children 4-10 Yrs)

Saturday, February 15 from 1-2 pm 

Join local artist and parent Ben Pinder as he demonstrates and leads a class on drawing bees and other insects BIG! Children will see how artists and illustrators throughout art history have painted and rendered bees and compare to cartoon bees. The Pollinator Patrol Club will have the opportunity to study real bees under magnifying glasses to help them draw life into art, Seeing is "Bee-ing"!
