Pollinator Patrol Club for KidsJoin the Pollinator Patrol Club as they hike and explore the trails on the Hyde Park Trails Walkabout Scorecard to earn the walkabout patch!
This 12 week series is geared towards families with school age children, using the hike to incorporate as many subjects and learning opportunities as possible.Rain or shine; only required materials are appropriate clothing/hiking gear, a nature journal, and pencil. Tick and bug spray always a good idea too!

A writing group for parents, caregivers, family members and educators of children with disabilities. This is a safe space to share and explore thoughts and feelings! This group meets throughout the year and is facilitated by Diana Rush, a writer, educator and parent.
Diana will help participants use writing as a means to sort through some of the unique challenges and victories of parenting and working with these special kids.

Email staatslibrary@gmail.com to register and receive the recipe & shopping listJoin Holly Shelowitz, Culinary Nutrition Educator for a hands-on cooking class from the comfort of your own kitchen! Join us as we journey to Thailand and make Thai Red Curry with Broccoli and your choice of protein, along with coconut Jasmine rice.
Once you register, you will receive the Zoom link, shopping list, and recipes. Print them out so you have them handy. Prepare all of your ingredients by washing the veggies and having whatever cookware you need. Then set up your phone / laptop / iPad in the kitchen so you can see Holly as she cooks. She will walk you through step by step and you will have a delicious meal inspired by the flavors of Thailand.

Learn about eligibility, how and when to enroll, when you can make changes, and the insurance options available to you. Review and compare what services are covered/not covered under Medicare Parts A, B, C and D. Detail the costs associated with medical and drug insurance. Explore and evaluate Original Medicare, Medicare Supplement Insurance, Prescription Drug Plans and Medicare Advantage Plans.
This program will simplify the choices you need to make, help you make more well-informed decisions and explain what Medicare means for you! This is an educational event.

This is a great opportunity to help Monarch butterflies and pollinators by expanding the pollinator pathway and milkweed waystation at Burger Hill.

The Road Ramble is a scavenger hunt and trivia contest mash-up. A car driven escapade, sure to challenge your mind and entice your competitive spirit with a series of scavenger hunt like clues. Follow the clues, visit sites and local hidden gems throughout Staatsburg & Hyde Park, answer questions at each location & compete to win the coveted Road Ramble trophy!
Winners are not necessarily those who finish first. This is NOT a race.
